After a 12 day gala in Cannes, Lindsay Lohan returns to US with a indulged heart reluctant to depart and something new. She was photographed at the LA airport on Saturday evening. On her wrist, something like a Chanel tattoo was spotted. Lindsay Lohan’s new skin art includes a bird and a Chanel pendant. Lindsay Lohan is no doubt a speed fashion catcher. However, she also seems to fear pain. The Chanel tattoo on her wrists is said to be fake. What a painful drop from utterly cool to utterly disappointing.

The Chanel temporary tattoos were launched on the spring 2010 runaway show. According to Elle UK, the Les Trompe L’?il de Chanel, set of 55 individual tattoos retails for £49 (about US$78) in stores in March 2010. Obviously, Lohan just pulled one out of them and pasted on her wrist. Well, maybe she’s aware of the fact that fashion will fade with time. She just doesn’t want an permanently inked outdated tattoo to shame her fashion sense in the future. Or maybe she just cannot bear the pain.
To remind you of the Chanel tattoo transfers, here I’ll give you a brief browse. They were one of the surprises on last fall's runways: Chanel's illusions of chain bracelets (complete with logo pendants, bien s?r) developed by creative director Peter Philips. The 'rocker image' of tattoos makes for an appealing contrast to this spring's otherwise quite romantic theme featuring lots of florals, ruffles, and transparent materials.
